Basaksehir Knowledge Houses
Basaksehir Knowledge Houses were established with the aim of providing an environment where 8-14 age group primary school students can make the best use of their time outside of school.
They are offered and provided the opportunity to access information for developing themselves, to access computers and the Internet. They are also motivated to popularize the habit of reading books and study in a social environment to develop their cultural and social lives, to guide and direct them in this direction.
Also, ın our Knowledge Houses, trainings covering music clubs and social and educational club activities are offered.
There are 5 Knowledge Houses in Basaksehir and 11.162 students which are actively using these houses.

BAKMER ( Başakşehir Women's Activity Center)
Başakşehir Women's Activity Center BAKMER; It was established in 2015 by Başakşehir Municipality in order to create a living space for women from Başakşehir where they can engage in cultural and social activities.
Activities such as healthy life seminars, morning walks, family and child trainings, pregnancy school, marriage school are organized regularly at BAKMER.
Located in Başakşehir Water Valley, BAKMER hosts social, cultural and artistic activities, and has expanded its field to serve all Başakşehir women and started women's special education in the Knowledge Houses.

Başakşehir Municipaltiy New Media Academy
We opened Turkey's first New Media Academy, consisting of modern studios and training classes, at Başakşehir Living Lab Technology and Innovation Center. At the Başakşehir Municipality New Media Academy, which aroused great interest with its advertisements "Basaksehir is looking for its YouTuber", we provide our young people with 2-month theoretical and practical training on content creation, shooting and editing, as well as copyright and rules. We aim to support YouTuber candidates between the ages of 14-25 to produce the right content for history, science, culture-art and entertainment.

Istanbul Youth Games
Istanbul Youth Games; It is a set of activities organized in the categories of sports, art, science and technology, social responsibility and awareness for 9 months, with the participation of 100 thousand students from 25 districts on the European side, within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed with the Governorship of Istanbul, Başakşehir Municipality, and the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education.

Base- Basaksehir Esport Center
The new center of esports, which has more than 30 million players across Turkey, is rising in Başakşehir. Başakşehir Municipality is making its first move towards becoming the new center of esports with Base Esports Center. With Başakşehir Esports Center, where professional esports players will be trained and national and international tournaments will be held, young people will have the opportunity to step into esports professionally.

‘’We’’ Project
“WE” Platform is a civil society movement open to everyone who wants to work “For Good” in the broadest sense in Başakşehir. It is a kindness movement that is open to the participation of volunteers of all ages and from all walks of life throughout the district, and calls to all BAŞAKŞEHİR residents, from philanthropic citizens to primary, secondary, high school and university students, from housewives to NGOs, to take action for a better world.

Radio Basaksehir
Radio Basaksehir started broadcasting on February 13, World Radio Day, in Başakşehir, the City of Happiness. Our studio and production room have been designed with state-of-the-art products.
At Radio Başakşehir, the Voice of Happiness, we convey the power we derive from traditional radio to our listeners in the digital environment with the broadcasts we will make with the awareness of public responsibility. We prefer to give accurate news rather than fast news.

The Barrier-Free Art Workshop
The Barrier-Free Art Workshop, which was established in 2017 with the instruction of Başakşehir Mayor Yasin Kartoğlu, touched the lives of the disabled and their families. 13 disabled individuals, who set their heart on music, held on to life with music. The choir, which consists of 13 disabled people, sets an example for other disabled people with their performances on special days.

Athlethic Measurement, Branch Management And Bank System Project
Başakşehir Municipality is raising the champions of the future in Başakşehir with the T's of Sports - Athlete Measurement, Branch Guidance and Knowledge Base System project. Within the scope of the project, children are measured 3 times a year in 4-month periods. With the project, which is implemented free of charge by a municipality for the first time in Turkey, children whose sports and physical characteristics are determined by scientific methods are directed to branches where they can be more successful.

Başakşehir Municipality Dubbıng School
Trainings started at the Dubbing School, which was established by Başakşehir Municipality. Trainees, who will receive dubbing and voice-over training from experienced names, will be able to give life to TV series and movie characters with their voices at the end of the academy.

Basaksehir Public Library
Başakşehir Public Library is located in Başakşehir Public Garden, which has an area of 360 thousand square meters, which was opened under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
It has implemented the "Public Library" project in order to spread the book culture, to remove the limits of access to information, and to take strong steps towards the future in national unity and solidarity.
Basaksehir Public Library where all kinds of opportunities are considered for our citizens who read, research and seek a quiet study environment, started to serve actively with its official opening on March 14, 2019.
Children, young and old, individuals of all age groups carry a different value in Basaksehir Public Library , where today's technologies are used at the highest level and focused on unhindered life.
